Making a team private

Sometimes you don't want a certain category of requests to be seen by everybody in your organization. This is why Spoke offers the ability to make a Team private.

To create a private team, start by building the team with the "+" button on the Teams page as you would any team.

As you're nearly done creating the new team, select the option to Request privacy, so Spoke will automatically make all incoming requests private to the team Private. This means only approved team members can view and respond to the request.

This setting can be adjusted to Off in the future, but once turned on only team members will be able to work on those requests.

Making the requests private automatically will increase your user's trust in using Spoke and allow your teams to provide great service while maintaining privacy in the workplace.

Tip: make your team invite-only in addition to making requests private automatically to ensure requests are only visible to members of the team.
